Youth Ministry

Here at Gateway church, our hope is that middle and high school students find a community of belonging, acceptance, growth, safety and love, with God, our leaders and each other.

Change is the only constant in life. Right now, our group is in the midst of big changes. We are pausing our Wednesday meetings temporarily. But, the joy of sharing spaces is that our sister church, Roots, has a youth group that meets on campus on the first and third Thursdays of each month. We are currently encouraging all youth to join Yoots (Roots Youth Group) for now, as we navigate what is ahead!

Our programming is designed to bring focus to our vision of Enjoying, Encouraging and Engaging. We Enjoy God through our weekly meeting times, on Wednesdays evenings and Sunday mornings. With relevant and thoughtful messages, provoking small group discussions and fun activities, our fellowship times help each unique individual find a way to enjoy God. Our prayer is that our times together create an atmosphere where God is made real in their daily lives and allow each student to grow closer in relationship to Jesus. We Encourage each other through building a close community that makes a safe space of belonging for all students. Games, events, activities and group meals all allow for places of connection. In a world filled with loneliness and isolation, we try to create a fun place for teens to build relationships and find refuge. We Engage in our community by creating opportunities for our students to live out their faith in practical and everyday ways. Whether it is assisting a senior in our church family, going on mission trips or just helping a hurting friend, we want our youth to engage in growing the Kingdom of God, in big and small acts.
