At Gateway we love kids and we view them as a blessing! Kids are not a distraction, they are the future. The first thing you should know is that we love having kids in our service. We think that kids are positively impacted by experiencing corporate worship with adults. You are always (and we mean always) welcome to keep them with you in the service. We also know that it is valuable for kids to learn about the things of God in ways that are understandable to them. Because of this we provide a safe kid-centered ministry on Sundays.

Nursery: Birth - 4 yrs

• The Nursery is available for the entire 9am worship service time.

• Babies will be rocked, sung to, fed, played with, and loved on for the entire hour. Volunteers will work with you to make sure your baby has as much consistency in their schedule as possible while you are in the service. Babies will hear truths about God and be prayed over during the service.

• 3’s and 4’s will have lots of fun playing with toys, crafts and books. They will hear a story from the Bible and participate in learning about God.

Grade School: K-5th Grade

• Grade School will start in the worship service. We believe that families should worship together and that kids learn best by example. We love having them in service and seeing them enjoy the Lord alongside the adults.

• Grade School kids will go deeper in Bible Study in age-appropriate ways. They will hear stories from the Bible and discuss how it applies to their daily life. While participating in crafts, games, and memory verse challenges, kids will develop friendships through this class.

• Family Sundays: These happen a few times a year on the 5th Sunday of a month. The kids will be in the worship service for both the worship time and the teaching time. There will be a fun and engaging Kids Sermon where they will be taught by one of the pastors. This is a beautiful time of seeing God work and speak to the kids.
